SAE
An agricultural education program is made up of three integrated parts: classroom instruction, FFA and SAE. SAE stands for Supervised Agricultural Experience and is required of all students involved in the Oelwein Ag Department.
SAEs are designed to open doors to multiple career paths for students and teach them the necessary skills and qualities they will need in the future. To learn more about what an SAE is read here. If you want to see different examples of SAEs from our chapter click here.
AET
When having an SAE students must keep records every year they are enrolled in FFA. AET, also known as The Agricultural Experience Tracker is an online system that tracks your experiences in agricultural education and SAEs. To get started with AET, contact Mr. Doeing or Ms. McCleary to get your login information.

Proficiency Awards
After at least one year of having records on your SAE you can fill out a Proficiency Award. Proficiency Awards honor FFA members who, through their SAE's have developed specialized skills that they can apply toward their future careers. To start filling out your Proficiency Award you have to:

Click on Reports

Under Annual Reports & FFA Apps click on Degree/Application Manager

Then use the dropdown and select Proficiency Award

Click Add New
