National Ag Day
The Agriculture Council of America (ACA) is an organization uniquely composed of leaders in the agriculture, food and fiber communities dedicated to increasing the public awareness of agriculture's vital role in our society. The Agriculture Council of America and the National Ag Day program was started in 1973.

FFA Blood Drive
The Oelwein FFA partners with both American Red Cross and National Honors Society to gain donors to donate blood in both the fall and spring. This event is an annual event.

State FFA Convention
Over 6,000 FFA members and guests from across the state gather to learn about careers in the agriculture industry, compete for scholarships, volunteer in the community and shape the future of the Iowa FFA Association.

Washington Leadership Conference
Each year, FFA members from all over the United States travel to Washington, DC to attend the Washington Leadership Conference (WLC). During the five-day event, attendees learn how to become effective leaders by teaching them to know their purpose, value people, take action, and serve others.

National FFA Convention
The National FFA Convention & Expo is a very exciting event. FFA members from all corners of the nation converge in one place to celebrate their accomplishments and find inspiration for their next. Motivational keynote speakers, energetic concerts, fulfilling workshops and a sweeping Expo floor bustling with agriculture education and industry opportunities.
