The Oelwein Agriculture Department & FFA was started when the first Oelwein Agriculture Advisor was Larry Tompkins in 1958.

Oelwein has been fortunate to receive many honors and awards over the years, including many Iowa and American Degrees. But in recent years Oelwein's Ag Department & FFA has expanded and grown more than ever before.

 

 

We currently have two agricultural advisors with 165 junior high members and 95 high school members.
